Tutoring Match’s Marketing Assistant

Tutoring Match’s Marketing Assistant will work in close consultation with TM’s Regional Director.


  •  Initially a part-time position (10-20 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  •  Help establish and improve a wide variety of initiatives and media elements for Tutoring Match’s growth.
  •  Assist, conduct, organize and deploy various advertising initiatives, marketing campaigns and promotional efforts that are in alignment with Tutoring Match’s marketing research and strategies.
  •  Provide support and contribute to various local, national and international projects.
  •  Create, develop and contribute to various marketing materials, advertisements and media items.
  •  Manage and maintain marketing data and files within company systems.
  •  Maintain marketing collateral (including brochures, flyers, postcards, client list, etc.).
  •  Coordinate and communicate with vendors, printers, distributors and staff.
  •  Perform and complete other related responsibilities and projects as necessary.

 Essential Job Functions:

  •  Assist in numerous marketing efforts (internet promotion, email and snail-mail)
  •  Contact and cultivate potential parents and tutors
  •  Contribute to tutoring match’s promotional and marketing strategy
  •  Help design, develop and distribute marketing materials


  •  Ability to work independently

  •  Ability to work flexible hours
  •  Desire to share in the development of a new, unique educational service


  •  Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
  •  Familiarity with Word 97 or higher, Excel, Internet research, Constant Contact, Outlook

Expected Level of Performance:

  •  Highly professional


  •  Some flexibility with days and times.
  • Could be 2-4 days with 4-5 hours per day.
  • Set schedule preferred.
  • Flex hours possible once established.


  •  $15-$25 / hour dependent upon experience
  • commission bonus
  •  $20 for each referral (student or tutor) leading to a match
